WUSC is a Canadian non-profit organization working to create a better world for all young people. Fostering youth-centered solutions for improved education, economic, and empowerment opportunities to overcome inequality and exclusion in over 15 countries across Asia, Africa, and the Americas, including right here at home!
$1.00 from every bar sold will go to funding the WUSC Student Refugee Program!
This program is the only one of its kind to combine resettlement with opportunities for higher education, and has been changing lives for young refugees for over 40 years.

About The Maker:
For nearly 30 years the Hadhad family created and shipped their specialty treats all over the Middle East and Europe. In late 2012 the original Hadhad family chocolate factory in Damascus, Syria was destroyed in a bombing that forced their family to leave everything behind and flee to Lebanon. For three years they found themselves as refugees with little opportunity or hope. Their lives had been forever altered and they dreamed of being able to once again live lives they could love. When their family was invited to Canada, their dreams came true. With the support of their new community of Antigonish and the people of Nova Scotia, they have rebuilt their chocolate company and are once again doing the work they love.

Mocha | 60% Dark Milk Chocolate
Regular price $6.00ABOUT THE CHOCOLATE: Coffee and chocolate have a lot in common. Both come from a fruit and are picked when ripe. The seeds are fermented, dried, and roasted. And, they're both really delicious! We added fresh roasted, single origin coffee from our friends over at Pilot Coffee.
We refine their beans alongside our cacao for 48 hours, creating a coffee like beverage in bar form.
TASTES LIKE: If we somehow managed to transform your favourite mocha (expertly made from your friendly, local barista) into pure chocolate bar goodness. The coffee isn't overpowering, but blends perfectly into the creamy dark milk chocolate base.

Assam Tea | 50% Milk Chocolate
Regular price $6.00Back in 2019, we traveled to Kerala, India in search of specialty cacao. We met some fantastic people producing some of the best cacao we have had the pleasure of sampling. Although we did not come back with our suitcases full of cacao, we did however return with an abundance of spices, panela (small batch cane sugar), and Assam tea.
Tasting Notes:
You have just poured yourself a nice cup of tea! We refined the Assam tea directly into the milk chocolate base. The tea on its own is rather intense and slightly astringent but the sweetness from the chocolate balances it out nicely.
