Queer chemistry was born from the desire to explore Queer identities through the lens of science. Made in Montreal by a Queer, Trans, Non-Binary artist, this Pansexual Pride Pin is inspired by the chemical element “Phosphorus”, with symbol P and atomic number 15. In science, the term "phosphorescence", meaning glow after illumination, originally derives from this property of phosphorus. Does that mean that after being exposed to light, pansexual people glow in the dark?
Each pin is a square of 3/4" inch. The metal colour is an antique gold.
